Since 1992, Le Chamarel Restaurant has been welcoming guests for memorable lunch experiences overlooking the breathtaking landscapes of south-west Mauritius. Perched 260 metres above sea level, the restaurant reveals sweeping views stretching from Le Morne to La Tourelle and across the turquoise lagoon below.

Authentic Local Flavours
Inspired by the iconic landscape overlooked by the restaurant, the Bouillabaisse Le Morne pays tribute to the richness of the South-West region. Named after the majestic Le Morne mountain visible from Le Chamarel Restaurant, the dish highlights local seafood, fresh vegetables and ‘palourdes’ sourced from the Le Morne region, bringing together the flavours of the Mauritian lagoon and terroir in one signature creation.
